Our commitment is to deliver the highest quality materials and services, ensuring results that stand the test of time. Your satisfaction is our priority.

Our dedicated team at Spence Canadian Concrete works tirelessly to provide you with high-quality, long-lasting concrete solutions for your home or business. Whether it's your sidewalk, driveway, garage, or stairs, rest assured that we strive to meet or exceed your expectations. Our crew members undergo thorough training in preparing, setting up, pouring, and finishing concrete to the highest industry standards. We stay up-to-date with the latest materials and techniques, working closely with our concrete producers and suppliers to ensure you receive the highest quality materials for your project.

How To Take Care Of Your Concrete Surface

Taking care of your concrete is as important to us as it is to you. Here are some essential guidelines to ensure the longevity of your concrete surfaces:

  1. Allow a minimum of 28 days of drying time before driving on or placing heavy items on your new concrete. Most applications require only 48 hours before light use, but specific situations may require different timelines. The warranty does not cover damage caused by placing too much weight on the concrete before the recommended cure time.
  2. Prevent water from draining under the slab to avoid settlement cracks.
  3. Refrain from using de-icing chemicals, such as salt, for snow and ice removal during the first winter after installation. Opt for sand and concrete-safe de-icers for traction to prevent damage.
  4. Avoid using de-icers containing ammonium nitrate or ammonium sulfate, like fertilizers, on your concrete surface. These products can aggressively attack and damage the concrete, causing popping and flaking not covered in the warranty.
  5. For stamped surfaces, re-seal after the first year and every second year subsequently to ensure durability. The warranty is void if Spence Canadian Concrete does not install the sealer.
  6. Use specialized products for stain removal on your concrete surfaces, avoiding harsh chemicals.

Warranty Coverage

Our warranty offers comprehensive coverage for both horizontal and vertical applications, addressing potential issues such as scaling, spalling, aggregate pop.  If any concerns arise before the Warranty Expiry Date, our experienced team will handle repairs, replacements, or refinishing as needed.

It's crucial to note that the warranty becomes void if full payment for the work is not made. Repairs, replacements, or refinishing are covered for the remaining duration under the original warranty, with possible variations in finish or color due to normal weathering.

For significant cracks measuring one inch or more, we cover repair costs. However, the warranty does not extend to cracks resulting from overload, frost heave effects, shrinkage, or land settlement. We offers Crack Repair Service at an additional cost, unless included during a Re-Sealing Service call. Subsequent visits for crack repairs are the responsibility of the Customer.

Re-Sealing the work within 1-2 years of completion is imperative to maintain the warranty. Ongoing sealing must be conducted by Spence Canadian Concrete to ensure proper protection. Any alternative sealing or repair methods by the Customer or other Contractors will void the warranty. Trust in the quality and expertise of Spence Canadian Concrete for lasting and reliable concrete solutions. Contact us today and witness the durability we bring to every project.
